Client Feedback.

Hello Bruce,

Apologies for the time it has taken me to reply to you - I realise you also sent another email before this one !  We had such a wonderful, incredible honeymoon.  I couldn't quite have imagined it would be so good.

We went on a couple of tours through your partners, to Stone Town, Prison Island and a Spice Farm tour with Salum - he was awesome, very knowledgable, and got on fabulously with our daughter.  The resort was fantastic, our room entrance adorned with an archway of flowers upon arrival along with our bed, and we received 5 star treatment throughout the whole holiday - the same table reserved for us each night with flowers and happy birthday sung to my wife on her birthday Swahili-style - with a cake the following day, and a superb seafood platter included on the night.  Again our chairs were moved to a more private location (not to the beach as it is literally Sea Cliff !) and all three of our chairs were adorned with flowers.  I made the mistake of ordering a bottle of champagne thinking in Rands and Pounds and not realising it was actually US $205 - so that made the bill slightly expensive at the end but at least our $120 couples massage was thrown in as we were honeymooning.

Our daughter was accommodated and entertained at every stage and we didn't have to worry at any time - other than a single isolated incident where one of the waiters picked her up and dropped her into the swimming pool next to me when I was swimming - she is 28 months old and cannot swim at all unaided.  He got a mouthful from me but I think learned his lesson - everyone else was very hands-off and reluctant to pick her up unless helping her into a childs chair or similar.  In particular I would highlight and recommend the efforts of Neema, Mambo, Saviour, Asia, Saraphine and Captain Robert who all went above and beyond whenever we asked, as well as Zuwena who works tirelessly in the childrens club.

We also spent some time with the local guys who live on the beach along from the Sea Cliff - they are cut a hard time by hotel security in not being allowed onsite but are actually very genuine and hold tourism guide licenses - we ended up taking a dolphin tour with them very early one morning - the hotel and them could benefit greatly from mutual business opportunities.

I have some photos but would like to check with my wife if she minds me sharing them with you.

Thanks for all your help too.  The only area that went slightly askew was with our transfers from the airport - we were still due to land at 4pm rather than 1pm on our 1time flight, so we were left waiting and wondering for a little while, but the guys soon sorted that out and took us without any problems.

Regards,

Matt.

Client Feedback - Zanzibar Honeymoon

Dear Laura,

The honeymoon was superb. Chapwani was just delightful and a fantastic place to stay incredibly peaceful after all the madness from the wedding. The staff were so friendly and our surprise moonlit dinner with our own waiter was really special.

Unguja lodge also superb. The room was stunning and the daily monkey appearances were fun. Beautiful scenery and again lovely staff.

Breezes was nice but a bit too commercial it didn't have the personal atmosphere as the others had. But we did love the cigar and whiskey bar. I was slightly shocked that they wouldn't let a wheelchair bound man and his family have a late check out.

Ras nungwi stunning views, food and lovely room. Again amazing staff and the perfect end to our honeymoon.

We couldn't have asked for more and would love to go again one day.

Thanks for all the organising.
Jenny
